If we provide a recommendation in writing, you decline it in writing, and the issue we flagged is what causes a failure later, that specific failure isn't covered under the guarantee. Not because we're looking for a reason to walk away from the work. Because we told you what was needed, we documented it, and the outcome was predictable from the start. The guarantee covers our work. It doesn't cover the result of a decision made against our written advice.
We document every recommendation on every job. Written quotes. Written scope. When something is declined in writing, both sides have a clear record of what was agreed to and what wasn't. There are no surprises later.
