New Appliance Still in the Box? Mounted, Connected, Tested.

The gap between an appliance being delivered and an appliance working is real work: mounting brackets, water lines, drain connections, venting, and the electrical hookup done to spec. Delivery crews drop the box. We make the machine part of the kitchen.

Every install ends the same way: the appliance runs through a full test cycle while we are still standing there, and the packaging leaves with us.

What Is Included?

  • Over-the-range microwaves. Old unit down, new bracket templated to the studs, vent path connected for recirculating or exterior venting, and the cabinet drilled clean for the cord.
  • Dishwashers. Supply line, drain with a proper high loop, and the electrical connection made to spec. Leveled, anchored to the counter, and door balance checked.
  • Garbage disposals. Mount, wiring, and dishwasher knockout done correctly, then run and checked for leaks under load.
  • Refrigerator water lines. Ice maker and water dispenser lines run and connected with a proper shutoff, not a piercing saddle valve.
  • Washers and dryers. Hoses replaced rather than reused, machines leveled so they do not walk, and the dryer vented in rigid or semi-rigid duct, never crushed foil.
  • Electric ranges and cooktops. Set, leveled, anti-tip bracket installed, and connected to the existing electric supply.

When to Call

  • A new appliance was delivered but not installed
  • The old unit needs to come out and the new one needs its connections adapted
  • An over-the-range microwave needs a mount into solid framing, not just the cabinet floor
  • A dishwasher swap involves an unfamiliar drain or supply setup
  • A dryer vent run needs to be corrected while the machine is out

What Affects the Cost of Appliance Installation in Montgomery County?

Connections already in place. A like-for-like swap differs from a first-time install that needs a water line run or an outlet where none exists.

Cabinet and counter fit. Openings sometimes need trimming or shimming to accept the new unit square and level.

Venting. A microwave or dryer that vents outside is a different job from a recirculating setup, and we quote whichever your home actually has.

No dollar figures on a webpage can be honest about your specific job. What we promise instead: a clear written quote before any work begins, and no surprises after it does.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Gas connections belong with a licensed gas fitter, and we tell you that up front instead of improvising. Everything electric and water-connected on the appliance is our work.

We disconnect it and move it out of the workspace. Tell us when you call what you want done with it and we will tell you exactly what we can do that day.

Yes, and we bring them. Reusing a ten-year-old braided hose or supply line on a new machine is how floors get ruined; new connections are part of a correct install.

Usually, if there is framing to carry the weight and a circuit to feed it. We check both before quoting rather than finding out with the unit half-hung.

Whichever your kitchen is set up for. Both are done to spec, with the junction properly enclosed. If the existing wiring is not safe, we say so before connecting anything.

Yes. Water connections get checked under pressure, the machine runs a cycle, and mounted units get load-checked. You see it working before we go.

"Jacob is the best ever. He made my dream come true by installing my catwalk for my cat to the ceiling when no other contractor could handle the job. I was extremely impressed by his expertise and he is definitely someone you can trust. It's hard to come by professionals who are also kind and Jacob is just stellar. I even paid him extra because he did such an amazing job."
